Cruelty: Judal x Reader
What he did wasn’t cruel. It was only fair. After all, he was only exacting justice on the people who did this to him. The people who took him from his parents, the people who made him an orphan. It was only fair that he gave what he got.
To the girl that he’d met when he was ten and on the run, he was only lonely and misunderstood. He wasn’t cruel, she never thought he was. Not even when he killed a group of merchants after he robbed them.
When Judal and [y/n] were seventeen, they were separated. Judal was recaptured by Al Thamen and forced to work for the Kou Empire. He told her to run. So she ran and he didn’t see her again until he attacked Sindria a few years later and she was there, standing with the Generals and the foolish King.
[Y/n] was not a Magi, but she was strong. She was powerful. She was the one who took him down, injured him enough to make the Kou Empire turn tail and run. He took out his anger on the villagers of a poor town. She found him again, fighting Hakuryuu again. Sparring he called it. Getting even, she called it. He hated the Kou Empire, especially the sorry excuse of an empress.
When they were in their mid-twenties, Sindria, Kou, and Leam made a tentative alliance. [Y/n] was sent as an ambassador to the Kou empire, and Judal took it upon himself to show her around. They became friends again, laughing and spending time together, just like the old days. She watched, quietly, as he killed a messenger from Al Thamen. No, he wasn’t cruel. He was just getting even.
When Al Thamen’s true motives were revealed, [y/n] offered to act as a distraction so the Magi and their king candidates could sneak around and defeat them. She stayed behind in Sinbad’s palace while the others went on to Al Thamen’s headquarters. Even though Judal knew it was a suicide mission, he let her go.
At the very end, at the very very end, Judal was battle-worn and injured, but he went to search for her. He went to search for the only person who ever understood him. He went to search for [y/n], the woman who had taken what was left of his black heart.
He found her bleeding and dying on the dusty floor under a collapsed pillar in Sindria’s destroyed palace. He didn’t cry. He didn’t seem sorry. But he heaved the stone and rubble off of her and sat down, lifting her head to lie in his lap. Her eyes fluttered open weakly, a wan smile spreading across her face.
“I don’t expect you to be sorry.” [Y/n] whispered quietly, blood bubbling out the side of her mouth. “You never are.”
“You’re right. I must seem so cruel to you.” Judal said matter-of-factly. She shook her head.
“No. You’re not cruel. You never were. You’re just getting even.” She winced as the pain from her injuries shot through her body. Taking a shaky breath, [y/n] spoke resignedly.
“But you were so busy getting even, you never noticed me. I was never important. You were cruel, for not realizing that love was enough. You were cruel for never letting me say…” She coughed heavily. “I...love…” She went limp, the light fading out of her [e/c] eyes.
Judal said nothing. He merely sat with [y/n]’s head in his lap, holding her cold hand. His bangs hid his crimson eyes.
I am cruel for never letting you say “I love you.”

Yandere! Judar x Reader [Part 4]
It was during your second week of being held political prisoner of the Kou Empire, that you had begun to hatch a plan. It was a plan to escape from this wretched place, and to finally free yourself from the grasp of the horrible man that had been plaguing you since before you had even arrived.
According to Lord Kouen, who had visited you just the other day, negotiations has begun to break down between your two countries. The Kou empire had demanded that your country peacefully submit to being ruled. As you saw it, they wanted your nation to roll over and do whatever it was told. Somehow, you felt that it wasn’t that different from the

Part Two:
When you finally got off the carpet your joints creaked. The ride was long with no breaks. Judar put away the carpet but hovered near you with his magic. For the first time in a while his ruby eyes met yours.
“We’re gonna split up. Just keep your eye out for anything that’s not right. Don’t get involved. Use this to call me if you think it’s very important. It will also help me track you down so I can get you and we can get a room for the night. Alright?” Judar groans, stretching out in the air.
“Yes, Master Judar.” you answer, mimicking his formal ordering.
He handed you a small g
